Ringgold ID: A Ringgold organizational identifier is a unique number assigned to each organization entity in Ringgold Organizations, to authoritatively disambiguate it from other organizations. With over 770,000 organization records, rich hierarches, and over 30 descriptive metadata elements, Ringgold Organizations, is an expertly curated and trusted database of global organizations that are engaged in the scholarly communications ecosystem.
ISNI: Most Ringgold Organizations records contain an ISNI [an open ISO standard – ISO 27729], which is used to uniquely identify individuals and organizations. Ringgold is an approved registration agency for ISNI.
