CCC’s data security and privacy team is actively reviewing the recent decisions by the Court of Justice of the European Union and the Swiss Federal Data and Information Commissioner related to the Privacy Shield and will update this statement as appropriate.

CCC received EU-US Privacy Shield Certification in January of 2017. CCC adheres to the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework as set forth by the European Commission and the US Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use and retention of personal data from European Union member countries. CCC has certified that it adheres to and will abide by the Privacy Shield Principles of Notice, Choice, Accountability for Onward Transfer, Security, Data Integrity and Purpose Limitation, Access, Recourse, Enforcement, and Liability.
