CCC’s ‘Get It Now’ academic article delivery service is now integrated with EBSCO Discovery Service™ (EDS). The new service enables students, faculty, and researchers at higher education institutions to request and access individual journal articles from within the EDS search and discovery platform.
EBSCO Discovery Service provides sophisticated search capabilities and superior relevance ranking technology with direct access to the full text of library-subscribed content. A link to ‘Get It Now’ is provided within EDS search results for journal content that the academic library does not subscribe to. From there, the patron or librarian can purchase the article for immediate delivery as an alternative to interlibrary loan (ILL).
