Copyright Clearance Center (CCC) will join more than 10,000 brand owners, legal counsel, and government and IP professionals from 150 countries at the International Trademark Association’s (INTA) 141th Annual Meeting – the world’s largest and most widely attended trademark event.
This year’s annual meeting, May 18-22, at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center (BCEC), features over 300 educational opportunities in international trademark law and practice. We invite you to visit CCC (booth #314) to discuss your team’s copyright challenges, how CCC can help educate and promote respect of intellectual property among employees, and solutions for simplifying compliance.
Join me on Saturday, May 18 (1:30–2:45pm) , as I moderate CCC’s panel Beyond the Trademark Portfolio – 360° Data Management.
Panelists Haralambos (Babis) Marmanis, CCC’s Executive Vice President & CTO; Christopher Chaudoir, Senior Counsel for Chevron Corporation; and Sandra Mau, Vice President, Compumark, will engage in discussion around how recent developments in platform management enable companies to obtain an enterprise-wide view of all content assets that goes beyond the limits of trademark considerations.
They’ll demonstrate how to make enterprise content management concerns—including data management and security; protection from IP infringement; and global trademark management—all part of a single, integrated platform and process for content.
On Monday, May 20 (1:15-3:15pm), CCC’s Iris Geik will also host Table Topic TM51: Characters Can Support Your Brand: From Peter Rabbit to Sherlock Holmes.
Table Topics are a great networking opportunity to discuss topics of interest over lunch or breakfast with a small group of like-minded professionals.
