Unlocking Socioeconomic Potential Through Global Collaboration at NISO Plus

This February 15-17, 2022, the National Information Standards Organization’s (NISO) Plus 2022 event is set to bring people together from across the global information community to share updates and participate in conversations about our shared challenges and opportunities. The theme, “Global Conversations, Global Connections” will focus on identifying concrete next steps to improve information flow and interoperability and help solve existing and potential future problems.

As part of this community, CCC is proud to be participating in NISO Plus as a sponsor and through a featured session: “Unlocking Socioeconomic Potential through Global Collaboration: Connecting Researchers to Research Output.” Hosted by Hannah Heckner, Director of Product at Silverchair, the session brings together Diane Cogan, Vice President, Global Sales, Ringgold; Georgie Field, Associate Publisher, PLOS; Steven Vidovic, Head of Open Research & Publication Practice, University of Southampton, UK; and Jamie Carmichael, Senior Director, Information and Content Solutions, CCC, in a panel discussion moderated by CCC’s Christopher Kenneally.
