World’s Largest International Book Fair Teaming Up with Global Licensing and Content Experts for Series of International Events in 2014-15

Danvers, Mass. – Copyright Clearance Center, Inc. (CCC), a global licensing and content solutions organization, announces that it has been named the Rights Licensing Partner of the 2014 Frankfurt Book Fair, the biggest book and media fair in the world. The Rights Licensing Partnership includes sponsorship of the International Rights Directors Meeting, CONTEC Frankfurt, and various Business Breakfasts.

Additionally, CCC is the official partner of the Frankfurt Book Fair Business Club, the new and exclusive meeting and conference area at the Book Fair dedicated to decision makers and innovators from the publishing industry. CCC executives Michael Healy, Roy Kaufman, and Miles McNamee will be onsite throughout the event, delivering presentations on ‘Copyright Collective Management: Content Sharing Across Borders’; ‘Open Access: New Business Models’; and ‘Rights & Licensing: Opportunity Amidst Digital Disruption’ respectively.

CCC was also named sponsor of a series of targeted global events throughout 2014-15 aimed at the international publishing industry, including StoryDrive Asia and GLOBALOCAL India.

The Town Meeting will be held 9 October from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. CCC CEO Tracey Armstrong will be the guest speaker at the International Rights Directors Meeting and will address ‘Copyright Developments in Latin America’ on 7 October, 14:00 – 17:00.
