CCC Statement on GSU Appeals Ruling

The Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals today reversed in its entirety the trial court’s fair use determinations in relation to Georgia State University. CCC supports the principles of copyright and seeks to serve all participants in the copyright licensing process – both content providers and content users. We believe voluntary collective licensing is an effective solution to copyright challenges, helping make copyright work for everyone.
