CCC is headed back to London for 2023 London Book Fair! We look forward to meeting with clients, as well as joining the Research & Scholarly Publishing Forum on Thursday, 20 April.
Taking place from 18 April to 20 April at the Olympia London, London Book Fair is the global marketplace for story creators, the hub of the publishing world, and the industry’s essential spring chapter. CCC will join over 25,000 publishing professionals at Booth 7H02. Our publishing industry experts look forward to discussing the various metadata challenges facing the scholarly publishing community and how we might work together to develop solutions to meet those challenges. We are also ready to share how CCC’s solutions like RightsLink for Scientific Communications, OA Agreement Intelligence, and Ringgold Solutions seamlessly work together to simplify open scholarly publishing.
On the final day of the Fair, a panel of industry experts assembles in the Olympia Theatre for Reading the Data Compass: The guiding role of metadata in an increasingly complex scholarly research ecosystem. Daniel Shanahan, Publishing Director, PLOS; and Dr. José Francisco Salm Junior, PhD, Professor, UDESC-Ulisbon, will share insights and experiences related to the guiding role of metadata in an increasingly complex scholarly research ecosystem.
In the lead-up to the Fair, Velocity of Content will release a pair of “show preview” podcasts, including an interview with Dr. Jose Salm from this year’s Research to Reader Conference, and a conversation with Gareth Rapley, the new Director of the London Book Fair.
