Copyright Clearance Center is a longtime supporter of the Special Libraries Association’s mission, and we’re excited to attend this year’s annual conference in Cleveland, Ohio.
The show will be held June 16-18 at the Huntington Convention Center. Featuring more than 100 educational sessions, the event sets out to “connect special librarians and information professionals to explore the latest challenges and trends in knowledge and information management.”
SLA’s Opening Keynote will feature Leon Logothetis, global adventurer, motivational speaker, & author/creator of the book and Netflix show, The Kindness Diaries. Closing out the show, Safiya U. Noble, Ph.D. will discuss racial and sexual bias in digital media.
In addition to educational opportunities, CCC will be exhibiting throughout the conference at Booth #314. Here are three reasons we’d love for you to stop by:
Reason 1: We’re Working on New Tools for Information Professionals (And Want to Hear from You!)
Here at CCC, you know copyright is our wheelhouse. But in addition to copyright tools and education, we’re enhancing and developing products and services to help information professionals provide even more value to your organization.
If you have any questions related to accessing scientific information, content storage and sharing, we’re here to help. In addition – we’d love to get feedback from you about your information challenges – and how we might be able to assist.
Reason 2: We’re Getting in the Rock & Roll Spirit!
In the spirit of Cleveland’s Rock and Roll history, we’ll be raffling off a $150 Live Nation gift card, so you can attend concert of your choice.
Reason 3: We’re Hiring Info Pros!
CCC recruits and hires information professionals on behalf of other organizations, as part of our Managed Knowledge Services offering.
Currently, CCC has two openings available for information professionals:
- Full Time Library Information Specialist – Gaithersburg, MD
- Full Time Library Information Specialist – Des Plaines, IL
Stop by the booth to learn more about these positions, and how you can apply.
