Kim Zwollo
General Manager
Kim Zwollo is General Manager, responsible for establishing and leading the RightsDirect organization, building key relationships throughout Europe, and driving the overall growth of European corporate license sales. Prior to joining RightsDirect Kim worked for Springer Science and Business Media in various international roles. Most recently he was Executive Vice President Sales for the EMEA region, which included responsibility for Third Party Licensing and Rights and Permissions. Kim has also served in sales and management roles for media companies including DMD Secure (digital rights management), Elsevier Science and others. Kim holds a master's degree in Medical Biology from the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands. Kate Alzapiedi
Business Development Director
Kate Alzapiedi is RightsDirect's Business Development Director. She has extensive business development and management experience from various roles at Elsevier Publishing and Excerpta Medica Medical Communications. As Commercial Director at Elsevier she was responsible for global non-subscription sales and reprint rights across the Science & Technology division. In 2009, she co-chaired the Pharma Documentation Ring (PDR) Publisher Meeting on Scholarly Publications. Prior to joining Elsevier, Kate was an executive producer at WHDH-TV in Boston, MA, US. Joerg Weizendoerfer
Business Development Director
Joerg Weizendoerfer is RightsDirect's Business Development Director responsible for building awareness of RightsDirect’s copyright licensing solutions in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Joerg joins the RightsDirect team from LexisNexis where most recently he led corporate sales for Germany and Austria. He has extensive experience in consultation-intensive sales and a track record of identifying business opportunities in new markets. Joerg has also served other companies in sales and marketing roles, among them 3Points Software, an ERP software company that provides solutions for the European media industry to handle complex tasks such as license rights management, finance and program scheduling. Joerg holds master's degrees in both Communication Sciences from Ludwig-Maximilians-University (LMU), Munich and Business Administration from Verwaltungs- und Wirtschaftsakademie (VWA), Munich.
