Get It Now is cost effective and convenient for SCELC institutions
SCELC and CCC partnered to include Get It Now billing into existing montlhy consolidated invoices. Participants in this service pay no up front costs to participate and will only receive invoices for articles downloaded by their institutions.
SCELC institutions can also set a cap on the number of articles downloaded each month from your institution. By implementing a cap your library can exercise greater budgetary predictability and control with this service.
Get It Now is a new service from CCC that augments your ILL operation by providing immediate, 24/7 purchase and delivery for unsubscribed journal content from several publishers.
Get It Now was developed with the participation of The California State University system, one of the largest university systems in the world, and the Information Delivery Services (IDS) Project at The State University of New York at Geneseo. The service includes tens of thousands of articles from over 8,400 journals from leading publishers, including Elsevier, John Wiley & Sons, Wolters Kluwer, Nature Publishing Group and the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO). Additional publishers are being added on an ongoing basis.
