Copyright Clearance Center Announces New National Law Firm Client

Cantor Colburn LLP Signs on for CCC’s ACL

Danvers, Mass. – Copyright Clearance Center, Inc. (CCC), a not-for-profit organization and leading provider of licensing solutions, announces that it has gained Cantor Colburn LLP, a leading intellectual property law firm, as a new licensee for its services.
CCC’s Annual Copyright License gives its clients enhanced capabilities to share copyrighted content from millions of information sources without the cumbersome need to obtain individual permissions for content users.

“Law firms thrive on the exchange of information,” said Diane Pierson, Vice President, Marketing, Copyright Clearance Center. “The Annual Copyright License gives law firm employees the freedom to share content with each other while respecting the rights of copyright holders.”
Cantor Colburn’s practice involves all aspects of intellectual property law. The firm uses copyrighted content in many aspects of its work with and for its clients.

“As our firm has grown tenfold over the last 10-15 years, our information needs have changed substantially,” said Sandra E. Pycz, a research librarian at Cantor Colburn LLP. “The Annual Copyright License will streamline our content licensing.”
