Copyright Clearance Center Names A. Miles McNamee Vice President of Business Development
DANVERS, Mass., May 14, 2008—Copyright Clearance Center (CCC), the world's largest provider of copyright licensing solutions, today announced that A. Miles McNamee has joined CCC as Vice President of Business Development.
McNamee brings to the company more than 20 years of business development, sales and marketing experience. He will head CCC's efforts to expand the scope and reach of its licensing and rights-management services around the world. He also will be focused on establishing new licensing and distribution relationships for audio and video content.
Prior to joining CCC, McNamee served in a number of roles at Starz Entertainment Group, the largest provider of premium movie services in the United States. In 11 years with Starz, he served in leadership roles in sales, business development and most recently as the Senior Vice President of Affiliate Marketing. He has also worked with Microware Systems Corp., TCI Cablevision, Continental Cablevision and Showtime Networks in sales and marketing capacities.
