Copyright Clearance Center Executives to Speak at Online Information 2007 in London
DANVERS, Mass., Dec. 3, 2007—Copyright Clearance Center (CCC), the world's largest provider of copyright licensing solutions, today announced that Bill Burger, CCC's Vice President of Marketing, will speak and moderate a panel at Online Information 2007 to be held in the Grand Hall at the Olympia Conference Centre, London, Tuesday, Dec. 4.
The session, entitled "Copyright 2.0-Addressing Rights Management for Complex Information Delivery," will focus on corporate rights management and content sharing strategies in the complex Web 2.0 world. It will begin at 2 p.m. in Conference Room 2, Level 3.
Other panelists will include Cindy Hill of Hill Information Consulting, also a past-president of the Special Libraries Association; Hugh Look, a Senior Consultant at Rightscom, and Sarah Winmill, Head of Information Systems at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London.
In addition, Ed Colleran, CCC's Senior Director of Rightsholder Relations, will speak on "Trends and Developments in Copyright—Key Facts for the Information Professional," examining the major trends faced by information managers at multinational companies who deal with international copyright issues. The session will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 4, 11-11:30 a.m. in the Information Master Class Theatre E.
