Copyright Clearance Center's RightSphere Named a 'Trend-Setting Product of the Year' by KMWorld Magazine

DANVERS, Mass., August 23, 2007—Copyright Clearance Center (CCC), the world's largest provider of text-licensing solutions, today announced that RightSphere, CCC's ground-breaking rights advisory and management service, has been named a Trend-Setting Product of the Year by KMWorld magazine. The award, announced in the September issue of KMWorld, recognizes innovative products that have had the most impact on the knowledge management industry over the past year.

"More than 650 individual products were considered by our team of editors, analysts, integrators and users," said Hugh McKellar, KMWorld editor in chief. "Each and every company whose products were chosen for this year's list of Trend-Setting Products is being acknowledged for its willingness to listen and serve its customers in useful and innovative ways."

Introduced in 2006, RightSphere's powerful rights repository enables knowledge managers to organize and manage all of their company's content usage rights in a single location. For employees using and sharing content, RightSphere helps them get an immediate answer to the common question: "What am I allowed to do with this content?"

A growing list of leading corporations, including Novartis, Astra Zeneca, Boeing and Eli Lilly, have purchased and implemented RightSphere across their organizations.

"We are thrilled KMWorld has recognized RightSphere's ability to help corporations share content and understand their rights and licenses at the same time," said Bill Burger, CCC's Vice President of Marketing. "KMWorld editors rely heavily on customer input in selecting their products of the year, so we are very proud to be a winner."
