Setting Fees

From time to time, rightsholders ask us for advice when setting their royalty fees. Due to limitations imposed by law and the many different perspectives maintained by publishers regarding fee setting, Copyright Clearance Center does not provide input on royalty fees.

To help you gain a better understanding of the range of royalty fees charged by other rightsholders, we suggest that you browse our online catalog of titles.

Updating Fees

You can modify the rate for the royalty fees we collect on your behalf simply by contacting us.

Updates are applied quarterly and new fees go into effect at the start of each new quarter.

When updating your fees, please refer to the Fee Change Submission Schedule that has been established to give customers advance notice of pending updates.
