Survey Requirements Include:

• Licensed institutions will be asked to provide information on the copyrighted content used in print or electronic coursepacks for a major academic term (e.g. semester, trimester or two quarters).
• CCC will work with you to determine a statistically valid survey sample of the total coursepacks produced during the academic term that reflects the major academic disciplines taught at your institution.
• You may use our survey template to help gather the necessary data, or provide us with your own spreadsheet (.XLS or .CSV format). View a listing of required information. Completed surveys/spreadsheets can to be sent to info@copyright.com.
• Please ensure that all on- and off-campus coursepack providers you have extended coverage of the license to:
  • Are collecting the required information for all copyrighted content used in coursepacks produced for your institution, and
  • Can supply the required data by the date specified by CCC
• CCC will work with you to determine the appropriate reporting period for your institution and methodology for collecting the required data. A representative will be available to answer questions and provide assistance as necessary during the survey period.
• Licensed institutions that do not issue coursepacks may provide a download of documents posted on the institution's e-reserve and/or course management system, a listing of the copyrighted content posted within those systems, or another suitable representation of copyrighted content used in course materials provided the course and its associated content information are supplied.
